Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a composition comprising a mussel adhesive protein and a growth factor. The growth factor is selected from platelet growth factors (platelet derived growth factor, PDGF; osteosarcoma derived growth factor, ODGF), epidermal growth factors (epidermal growth factor, EGF; transforming growth factors, TGFα and TGFβ), fibroblast growth factors (αFGF and βFGF), insulin-like growth factors (IGF-I and IGF-II), nerve growth factor (NGF), interleukin growth factors (IL-1, IL-3 and the like), erythropoietin (EPO), colony-stimulating factor (CSF) and the like. The composition exhibits the activities of the mussel adhesive protein, while having the effects of the growth factor.
