A composition for dyeing keratin fibers comprises a) at least one oxidation dye, b) at least one particular anionic associative polymer, and c) at least one alkyl (poly) glycoside nonionic surfactant and provides to the hair, especially to the hair of middle-length or shorter, an improved foaming property, thus enabling a good coloring effect.
