A composition for percutaneous administration excellent in percutaneous absorption of 1-(2-ethoxyethyl)-2-(hexahydro-4-methyl-1H-1,4-diazepin-1-yl)-1H-benzimidazole (emedastine), comprising emedastine and one or more members selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl esters of aliphatic monocarboxylic acids and di(lower alkyl) esters of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids.
