Abstract:
[Problem] Provided is a composition for polymerization that makes it possible to improve the storage stability in high-temperature environments when a specific sulfobetaine monomer is stored as a powder as well as to suppress discoloration when a cured coating film is made, and a method for producing said composition. Also provided are a coating composition containing said composition for polymerization, a method for producing a coating composition in which said compositions are used, and a method for producing a coating. [Solution] A composition for polymerization containing a monomer represented by formula (I) and water wherein the composition for polymerization has a water content of from 3% by mass to less than 10% by mass. (R represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group)
