Abstract:
Provided is a composition capable of preventing and/or ameliorating a decrease in brain blood flow. The composition for preventing and/or ameliorating a decrease in brain blood flow contains a bacterium of the genus Bifidobacterium as an active ingredient. Preferably, the bacterium of the genus Bifidobacterium is Bifidobacterium
longum and/or Bifidobacterium
breve. The composition is also used for cerebrovascular dementia. Preferably, the composition is also a medicinal composition or a food or beverage composition.
