Abstract:

The present invention relates to a composition which is for preventing, ameliorating, or treating pancreatic cancer, and includes a tetraspanin-2 inhibitor as an active ingredient, and more specifically, to: a composition which is for preventing, ameliorating, or treating pancreatic cancer, and includes an inhibitor of the expression or activity of tetraspanin-2 (TSPAN-2) as an active ingredient; a method for selecting a therapeutic substance for treating pancreatic cancer, by measuring the expression level of TSPAN-2; and a method for providing information useful for diagnosing pancreatic cancer.
