Abstract:
The present invention relates to an composition for preventing or treating an atopic dermatitis comprising, as an active ingredient, an X-shape DNA structure (XL-DNA) formed by complementary binding of oligonucleotides having the base sequences of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:4. When treating the XL-DNA in an animal model of an atopic dermatitis, the XL-DNA alleviates skin lesions such as erythema, bleeding and swelling, and swelling of ears, and exhibit an effect to decrease the expression of IgE, and thus may be useful as a pharmaceutical composition, health food or functional cosmetics for the atopic dermatitis.
