Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cancer, and containing otobaphenol as an active component, wherein the otobaphenol according to the present invention inhibits the activity of pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase and is highly effective in suppressing cancer cell growth, and thus, may be usefully used for preventing, mitigating, or treating cancer.
