Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, improving or treating immune-related diseases, the composition comprising, as an active ingredient, a fusion protein comprising an immunoglobulin Fc region and an extracellular domain of a leucine-rich and immunoglobulin-like domains 1 (Lrig-1) protein. The fusion protein, provided in the present invention, interacts with a ligand of the Lrig-1 protein present in an activated T cell, and thus gives a co-inhibitory signal to the activated T cell, thereby inducing the death of, or the inhibition of the activity of the activated T cell, and thus may enable the very effective prevention, improvement or treatment of immune-related diseases.
