Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammation disease and a food for alleviating inflammation, both comprising Antarctic fungi-derived metabolites and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammation disease and a food for alleviating inflammation, both comprising metabolites derived from Antarctic fungus Pleosporales sp. SF-7343. According to the present invention, a composition comprising metabolites derived from Antarctic fungus Pleosporales sp. SF-7343 inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, chemokines and mediators in HaCaT cells stimulated with TNF-α/IFN-γ, and thus can be effectively used for preventing or treating inflammation disease and, in particular, can regulate skin inflammation such as atopic dermatitis.
