Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases, containing a diterpene-based compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Specifically, a diterpene-based compound of the present invention activates a Nurr1 protein and inhibits an inflammatory response, thereby enabling the prevention or treatment of neurodegenerative diseases caused by the inhibition of Nurr1 protein activity.
