Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of epilepsy and a preparation method therefor and, more specifically, the composition is characterized by comprising a heated mixture of horseweed, licorice, rhubarb, water hyacinth, and vinegar as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the composition exhibits excellent effects of increasing the latency of epileptic seizure and reducing the frequency of epileptic seizure without adverse effects in contrast to conventional therapeutic agents, and as such, can be advantageously used for preventing or treating epilepsy.
