Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a composition for promoting angiogenesis, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating angiogenesis-dependent diseases, and a quasi-drug and cosmetic composition for skin regeneration, all of the compositions containing, as an active ingredient, an acetylated Pro-Gly-Pro (Ac-PGP) peptide, or an Ac-PGP peptide and endothelial progenitor cells; and a method for promoting angiogenesis, a method for preventing or treating angiogenesis-dependent diseases, and a method for skin regeneration, all of the methods comprising the step of administering an Ac-PGP peptide, or an Ac-PGP peptide and endothelial progenitor cells, to an individual in need thereof.
