Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a composition having a significant effect in promoting visceral lipolysis, the composition comprising lactoferrin in combination with other ingredients. Specifically, the present invention provides: a composition for promoting lipolysis, the composition containing (A) lactoferrin and (B) one or more types of ingredients selected from the group consisting of Durvillaea extract, raspberry ketone, artichoke leaf extract, rosemary extract, isoflavones, grape seed extract, pine bark extract, Coleus forskohlii extract, and cacao extract; the composition for promoting lipolysis, in the form of a food product, feed material, or medical product; and a method for adding the component (A) and the component (B) to a food product or feed material to endow the food product or feed material with a lipolysis-promoting effect.
