Abstract:
There have been required medicines which are based on naturally occurring compounds and by which osteopenic diseases can be prevented and/or treated. Provided is a medicinal composition for preventing and/or treating osteopenic diseases, said composition comprising a compound represented by chemical formula (I).
In chemical formula (I): R1 represents one functional group or 2-4 functional groups, which are either the same as or different from each other, selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group and a methoxy group; and R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom or a ketone group, provided that either R2 or R3 is a ketone group.
