Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for relieving and treating burns and bedsores comprising an animal lung tissue extract as an active ingredient. The present invention suggests that a protective effect of the animal lung tissue extract and/or propionic acid on skin damage is related not only to inflammation inhibition but also to regeneration of fibrous tissue and promotion of angiogenesis. Therefore, since the composition of the present invention exhibits effectiveness as a material related to skin wound healing and exhibits an industrially applicable effect associated with the treatment of burns and bedsores, the composition can be used as a therapeutic agent for said diseases.
