Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for stabilizing and improving soil that contains contaminated sediment and/or waste, and accelerating the solidification thereof, and a preparation method therefor. According to the present invention, water is absorbed from contaminated sediment and/or waste such that solidification is very rapidly carried out, heavy metals are adsorbed and attached, odor is removed and, simultaneously, a pH value is gradually neutralized, and thus contaminated soil modification and remediation efficiency is excellent, the time required for a water treatment process involved during modification and remediation of contaminated soil is reduced, and the facilities required for a treatment process and maintenance costs are greatly reduced.
