Abstract:
A composition for submucosal injection comprises a biocompatible modified starch and an pharmaceutically acceptable injectable carrier. The biocompatible modified starch occupies 0.2% to 50% of the total weight of composition. The biocompatible modified starch is selected from one or more of the following starches: etherified starch, esterified starch, cross-linked starch, pre-gelatinized starch, graft starch and compound modified starch. The biocompatible modified starch has a molecular weight of 3,000 daltons to 2,000,000 daltons, a water absorption rate of at least twice times, and a particle size of 500 nm to 1000 μm. The viscosity of the composition is 9 mPa.s to 150,000 mPa.s under the condition of 25ºC. A submucosal injection reagent combination comprising the biocompatible modified starch and the pharmaceutically acceptable injection carrier, and applications of the biocompatible modified starch in the preparation of a submucosal injection preparation.
