The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating gastric cancer, containing adlay root and fruit, and a preparation method therefor. The present invention relates to the extraction of a composition for preventing and treating gastric cancer from adlay root and fruit by using water or an alcohol as a solvent and, further, to: the provision of a composition for preventing and treating gastric cancer, obtained by extracting, using an alcohol, a mixture containing 46-66 wt% of a pulverized product of dried adlay fruit as a main ingredient, 14-24 wt% of a pulverized product in which the shells and the roots of dried Elm tree are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1, 14-24 wt% of a pulverized product in which the shells and the roots of dried Mallotus japonicus are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1, and 2.5-7 wt% of a pulverized product of the dried roots of Atractylodes Rhizome, and by fermenting the mixture with a crude ethanol and then fermenting the same by using alcohol; and a preparation method therefor.
