Abstract:
Developed and provided are: a system for evaluating the replication activity of an HBV, which makes it possible to visualize and digitize the replication of HBV DNA at low cost, safely, rapidly and within a short time; and an evaluation method using the system. Also developed and provided is a novel composition for inhibiting the replication of an HBV, which has a different mechanism of action from those of the conventional anti-HBV drugs.
Provided is a therapeutic agent for hepatitis B, which contains an HBV-Pol activity inhibitor as an active ingredient, wherein the HBV-Pol activity inhibitor comprises a phosphorylation inhibitor that can inhibit the phosphorylation of a TxY motif occurring in a terminal protein domain of HBV-Pol.
