Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention, alleviation or treatment of muscle loss-related diseases, comprising exosomes derived from tonsil mesenchymal stem cells. The composition of the present invention contains a high content of miR-145-5p, restores a reduction in musculoskeletal loss, has the effect of recovering muscle fiber loss and the inhibition of myotube cell formation, regulates the expression of activin A, which is a negative regulator for muscle mass, enhances the expression of muscle fiber formation-related genes, and enhances the expression of muscular atrophy-related genes, and thus has excellent effects of preventing, alleviating and treating muscle loss-related diseases and improving athletic ability.
