Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel use of a Inula britannica var. chinensis extract, and more particularly to a composition and a functional health food containing as an active ingredient a Inula britannica var. chinensis extract exhibiting superior prevention or treatment effect of renal cancer. The Inula britannica var. chinensis extract according to the present invention effectively inhibits growth of renal cancer cells and induces apoptosis, and thus can be effectively used in treating and preventing renal cancer.
