Abstract:
Provided by a compound represented by general formula (I) and a composition, a cured product, an optically anisotropic body, an optical element and a light guide element containing the compound are a compound having high refractive index anisotropy △n and a composition, a cured product, an optically anisotropic body, an optical element and a light guide element containing the compound. P1 and P2 each independently denote a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. S1 and S2 each independently denote a single bond or a divalent linking group. A1 to A4 each independently denote a non-aromatic ring group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic heterocyclic group, each of which may have a substituent group. Multiple A3 and A4 moieties may be the same as, or different from, each other. Z denotes a specific linking group or a single bond. Multiple Z moieties may be the same as, or different from, each other. m1 denotes an integer between 2 and 7.
