Abstract:
Disclosed is a compound which has a light absorption end wavelength that is a long wavelength. Specifically disclosed is a compound which contains a structural unit represented by formula (1). (In the formula, Ar1 and Ar2 each represents a trivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a trivalent heterocyclic group, provided that Ar1 and/or Ar2 is a trivalent heterocyclic group; Z1 and Z2 may be the same or different and each represents -O-, -S-, -C(R1)(R2)-, -Si(R3)(R4)-, -N(R5)-, -B(R6)-, -P(R7)-, -P(=O)(R8)-, -Se(R9)(R10)-, -CO-, -SO2- or -C(R11)=C(R12)-; n represents an integer of not less than 1; and m represents an integer of not less than 0.)
