Abstract:
A turbocharging control apparatus, comprising an air injection mechanism (40). Air is injected into an engine (30) by means of the air injection mechanism (40) to control the operation of a turbocharger (210), thereby adjusting the airflow and pressure of the engine. Also disclosed is a compound engine braking method. A high-performance compound engine braking method is formed by means of the combined use of the turbocharging control apparatus and an engine braking apparatus. The turbocharging control apparatus has a compact structure, occupies a small space, can be disposed upstream of a turbine or on a turbocharger, sufficiently exerts the effects of the turbocharger, decreases turbo lag, enhances exhaust gas circulation, reduces engine exhaust emissions, and increases engine braking power.
