Abstract:
In order to improve image quality, a compound-eye imaging device is provided with a plurality of facet optical systems, an imaging element, and a signal processing unit. The plurality of facet optical systems of the compound-eye imaging device are two-dimensionally arranged to face a subject. The imaging element of the compound-eye imaging device is provided with a plurality of pixels that receive light collected by the facet optical systems and generate an image signal on a facet-by-facet basis. The signal processing unit of the compound-eye imaging device generates an image corresponding to the subject on the basis of the image signal generated by the imaging element of the compound-eye imaging device.
