Abstract:
A compound of the general formula has excellent light-emitting properties. A represents a 2- or 4-cyanophenyl group or a cyanopyridyl group; one of R2 and R3 represents an acceptor group; the other of R2 and R3 and at least one of R1, R4 and R5 represent a benzofluoro- or benzothieno-fused ring carbazol-9-yl group; and the remaining R1 to R5 represent a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, an aryl group or a donor group.
