Provided are a compound rear-mounted gearbox-type hydraulic coupler and a starter having said compound rear-mounted gearbox-type hydraulic coupler; an input shaft (1) is connected to an input gear pair (12) and an overrunning clutch (13); the overrunning clutch (13) is connected to an input planet carrier (21) and a starter gear pair (11); a null shift mechanism (5) is connected to an output ring gear (23), an input connecting planet carrier (28), and an output gear pair (7); a connecting shaft (8) is connected to the output gear pair (7) and an electromagnetic clutch (10); an electromagnetic clutch (10) is connected to an input gear (121) of the input gear pair (12); the null shift mechanism (5) is connected to an output shaft (6); an output gear (27) is connected to a rear-mounted gearbox-type hydraulic coupler (4); the rear-mounted gearbox-type hydraulic coupler (4) is connected to an input ring gear (24); a small output gear (25) and an input ring gear (22) are connected to a connecting frame (9); the input ring gear (22) is connected to a fixed one-way clutch (3).
