Abstract:
Disclosed are a compound and a container including the same, the compound being able to retain and store alkaline reduced water with a pH of 8.5 or higher for a relatively long period of time and to produce alkaline reduced water tasting good and rich in minerals by employing, as a material therefor, reddish brown Jeju scoria, which is a breathing porous natural material that generates anions and emits far infrared light while having a minimal content of magnesium therein. A compound for producing alkaline reduced water according to the present invention includes 80-90 weight parts of high-density polyethylene, 5-10 weight parts of ORP powder, 8~13 weight parts of reddish brown Jeju scoria, and 2-5 weight parts of anionic powder, based on 100 weight parts of the compound. The ORP powder is composed of 30 weight % of magnesium (Mg) powder, 30 weight % of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 10 weight % of calcium oxide (CaO), 10 weight % of zinc oxide (ZnO), 10 weight % of magnesium oxide(MgO), 5 weight % of selenium oxide (SeO2), and 5 weight % of potassium oxide(K2O). Ingredients of the anionic powder consist of 32 weight % of zirconium oxide (ZrO2), 35 weight % of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 15 weight % of alumina (Al2O3), and 5 weight % of other ingredients, with a loss on ignition (LOI) of up to 13 weight % after ignition.
