Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an organic compound, as a material for a highly efficient and highly durable organic electroluminescent element, which exhibits excellent hole injection and transportation capabilities and has electron stopping abilities, with high stability in a thin-film state and excellent resistance to heat. To additionally provide a highly efficient and highly durable organic electroluminescent element using this compound. [Solution] A compound with an acridan ring structure represented by general formula (1), in which an organic electroluminescent element has a pair of electrodes and at least one organic layer interposed therebetween. The organic electroluminescent element is characterized in that the compound is used as a constituent material of at least one organic layer.
