Abstract:
A comprehensive recycling method for waste lithium iron phosphate batteries, relating to waste lithium ion battery recycling technology, and comprising: first selectively extracting lithium, and then using the lithium extraction residue to prepare iron phosphate; using the lithium extraction residue to prepare iron phosphate comprises: adding water to the lithium extraction residue to form slurry, adding hydrochloric acid and stirring to react so that the iron is completely dissolved, and performing solid-liquid separation; on the basis of the iron and phosphorus content of the obtained liquid, adding trisodium phosphate or ferric chloride, then adding a sodium hydroxide solution to precipitate crude iron phosphate, and then performing reverse three-stage washing to remove impurities in order to obtain a battery iron phosphate product. The method has a simple process flow and low material consumption, the iron phosphate yield being more than 93% and the amount of waste water being reduced by more than 75%, solving the problem of environmental protection and recycling all of the valuable elements, the relative cost being greatly reduced by about 25%, and being applied to industrial applications.
