Abstract:

A compressed gas storage cell (30A, 30B, 30C) interconnecting manifold (41) includes a thermally activated pressure relief device (72), a manual safety shut off valve (55) and a port (74) for connecting the compressed gas storage cells (30A, 30B, 30C) to a motor vehicle power source and to a refueling adapter. The manifold (41) is mechanically and pneumatically connected to a compressed gas storage cell (30B) by a bolt (42) including a gas passage (43) therein.
