Abstract:
This compression device (10) for compressing a plurality of inspection image data items is provided with: a pixel matrix generation unit (201) which generates pixel matrix data that contains, as matrix elements, pixel values at the same coordinates of a plurality of inspection image data items; a difference matrix generation unit (203) which selects a minimum element having a minimum value from among the matrix elements of the pixel matrix data and then generates difference matrix data that includes, as a matrix element, a value obtained by subtracting the minimum value from each of the matrix elements of the pixel matrix data; and a compression processing unit (207) which compresses the pixel matrix data on the basis of the difference matrix data, the minimum value, and the number of bits for expression for expressing each of the matrix elements in the difference matrix data.
