Abstract:

The present invention relates to a compression line spring grinding device and grinding method. The present invention provides a compression line spring grinding device comprising: a lower chain conveyor in which a pair of chain units, having a plurality of first securing blocks for supporting the compression line spring, are formed facing each other in a spaced-apart structure; an upper chain conveyor in which a pair of chain units, having a plurality of second securing blocks for pressing from above and thereby supporting the compression line spring placed in the first securing blocks, are formed facing each other in a spaced-apart structure; and a plurality of grinding units performing grinding work on seating surfaces at both ends of the compression line spring moving by means of the lower chain conveyor and the upper chain conveyor. Here: the first securing blocks are formed so as to have V-shaped recesses where the compression line spring is placed; and the floor surfaces of the second securing blocks, that press from above the compression line spring placed in the first securing blocks, are formed as flat planar structures. The present invention also provides a compression line spring grinding method using the grinding device.
