Abstract:
Disclosed are a compression mechanism for a scroll compressor, and a scroll compressor comprising the compression mechanism. The compression mechanism (CM) comprises an orbiting scroll component (200) and a fixed scroll component (100), wherein the orbiting scroll component (200) comprises an orbiting scroll end plate (210) and orbiting scroll blades (220) extending from one side of the orbiting scroll end plate (210); the fixed scroll component (100) comprises a fixed scroll end plate (110), fixed scroll blades (120), a compression area (140) and an outer peripheral wall (130); the fixed scroll blades (120) extend from one side of the fixed scroll end plate (110), and the fixed scroll blades (120) are joined with the orbiting scroll blades (220) to form a series of compression chambers used for compressing a working fluid; the outer peripheral wall (130) is located on a radial outer side of the compression area (140) and is provided with a thrust surface (S) in sliding contact with the orbiting scroll end plate (210); and the outer radial dimension (Ro) of the thrust surface (S) is smaller than or equal to the difference between a radius Rorbiting and an encircling radius Rencircling of the orbiting scroll end plate (210). The thrust surface (S) is always in sliding contact with the orbiting scroll end plate (210) during the operation of the scroll compressor so as to effectively ensure a supporting force.
