Abstract:
Disclosed are a compressive stress optical fibre and a manufacturing process therefor. The compressive stress optical fibre comprises: a core layer, the material thereof being silicon dioxide containing 200 ppm to 400 ppm of alkali ions; an inner cladding layer coated on the core layer, the material thereof being silicon dioxide containing 5000 ppm to 10000 ppm fluorine ions; an auxiliary layer coated on the inner cladding layer, the material thereof being silicon dioxide containing 13000 ppm to 20000 ppm of halogen ions; and a prefabricated stress layer coated on the auxiliary layer, the material thereof being silicon dioxide containing 5 ppm to 20 ppm of aluminium ions.
