Title:
COMPRESSOR CONTROL APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/058265
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a compressor control apparatus capable of reducing the time needed to overcome refrigerant liquefaction. A compressor (11) has a motor (M1) having a winding and a compression mechanism (111) driven by the motor (M1), and compresses a refrigerant. A motor drive unit (50) applies the desired voltage to the motor (M1). A leakage current detection unit (51) detects leakage current in the motor (M1). A control unit (52) controls the motor drive unit (50), starting the operation to overcome refrigerant liquefaction and reduce the amount of liquefied refrigerant inside the compressor (11) before starting the normal operation of compressing the refrigerant in the compressor (11), and then, when the leakage current falls below a reference level, ending the operation to overcome refrigerant liquefaction.
