Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a compressor that is inexpensive, lightweight, and highly reliable in the long term, the compressor being such that a frame composed of a material having a light metal as a main component is fixed to an iron-based container without strain. [Solution] A member 97 having iron as a main component is fastened to a frame 30, which is a constituent component of a compression mechanism and which is made of a light metal having a specific gravity of 5 or less, and the member 97 is welded to an iron-based container 1 to achieve a configuration in which the frame 30, which is the component made of a light metal having a specific gravity of 5 or less, is fixed to the iron-based container 1. This makes it possible to fix the frame 30, which has a light metal as a main component, to the iron-based container 1 without causing strain in the frame 30 in cases such as when the iron-based container 1 and the frame 30 made of a light metal are directly welded. The assembly workload can also be reduced, and therefore it is possible to provide a compressor that is inexpensive, lightweight, and highly reliable in the long term.
