Abstract:
A compressor 1 according to the present invention comprises: a compressor body 3 that has a motor 2 and that compresses air; an aftercooler 5 for cooling compressed air supplied from the compressor body 3; a dryer 6 for dehumidifying the compressed air leaving the aftercooler 5; a drainage discharge valve 11 for discharging drainage from the dryer 6; a first pressure sensor 12 for measuring the pressure of air downstream of the aftercooler 5; and a control device 7 comprising a rotational speed adjustment unit 7a that, when the motor 2 is started, drives the motor 2 at a second acceleration that is less than a first acceleration, which is the rated acceleration of the motor 2, when a pressure value Pd measured by the first pressure sensor 12 is less than a prescribed first threshold value.
