Abstract:
Compressors that are used in air conditioners, refrigerators, and the like use rare earth magnets, which are valuable resources, for the purpose of conserving electric power and it is necessary to establish processes to separate the parts, including the magnets, from used compressors. The invention relates to a compressor recycling method and an electric motor recycling method, wherein, by separating a compressor into the stator side and the pump side by cutting the case with a cutter, removing the iron core by extrusion from the pump side, and removing the magnet inserted in the removed iron core from the iron core after demagnetization of the magnet, the magnet, iron core, pump and stator are separately recovered.
