Abstract:
This compressor having a framed structure without an exterior wall comprises: a container having an oil storage unit; a suction pipe that sucks in a refrigerant from the outside of the container; a compression mechanism unit that is arranged inside the container and compresses the refrigerant sucked in by the suction pipe; a frame that fixes the compression mechanism unit to the container; a centrifugal separation unit that separates oil from the refrigerant compressed by the compression mechanism unit; a discharge pipe that discharges the refrigerant that has passed through the centrifugal separation unit from the upper part of the container to the outside; and an oil collecting unit that is provided on the outside of the centrifugal separation unit and collects oil discharged from the centrifugal separation unit, wherein an oil return pipe that returns the oil collected by the oil collecting unit to the oil storage unit is provided, the centrifugal separation unit has: a cylindrical portion having a plurality of holes on the side surface; and a swirling mechanism unit that is provided inside the lower region of the cylindrical portion and blows out the refrigerant compressed by the compression mechanism unit, thereby forming a swirling flow that flows toward the discharge pipe in the upper part of the container while swirling inside the cylindrical portion, and the centrifugal separation unit separates the oil from the refrigerant by the centrifugal force of the swirling flow, discharges the separated oil to the oil collecting unit through the holes, and then discharges the oil to the oil storage unit through the oil return pipe.
