Abstract:
Refrigeration machine oil (25) is supplied to the inner peripheral surface of the primary bearing (33) of a compression mechanism (30) through a crankshaft (50), thereby forming an oil film on the inner peripheral surface. The primary bearing (33) which is provided at a position closer to an electric motor than a secondary bearing (34) is largely affected by the deflection of the crankshaft (50) caused by the run-out of a rotor, and the primary bearing (33) is configured so that fluid lubrication by the oil film can be appropriately maintained irrespective of the deflection. Specifically, the inner peripheral surface (82) of the upper end part (81) of the primary bearing (33) is curved, and as a result the inner diameter of the upper end part (81) of the primary bearing (33) is gradually increased upward.
