Abstract:
This compressor is provided with a container having an oil storage part in the bottom of which oil accumulates, the container being installed such that either a rotating shaft is inclined relative to the direction of gravity or the rotating shaft is horizontal. An electric mechanism part, the rotating shaft, a compressor mechanism part, and a frame that secures the compressor mechanism part to the container are disposed inside the container, and an intake pipe that channels a refrigerant into a space between the frame and the electric mechanism part is connected to the container. An intake hole that channels the refrigerant flowing into the space into the compressor mechanism part is formed in the frame, and each of the intake hole and a connecting port of the intake pipe that connects to the container is positioned at the same height as or higher than the rotating shaft as viewed from the rotational axis direction. A rib is formed in a first flow channel that leads downward in the direction of gravity from the connecting port and then passes through the upper part of the oil storage part to reach the intake hole.
