Abstract:
A compressor system comprising a compressor that has a bearing for supporting a rotating shaft, a sensor that measures an index value associated with movement of the rotating shaft during operation of the compressor, and a wear detection unit that detects the condition of wear of the bearing on the basis of the value measured by the sensor. The bearing is configured from a plain bearing. A plurality of voids are formed in the bearing so as to be located at intervals in the circumferential direction. A configuration is adopted so that, due to wear of the bearing, the positional relationship between the inner peripheral surface of the bearing and the plurality of voids changes, changing the shape of the inner peripheral surface of the bearing. The wear detection unit detects the condition of wear of the bearing on the basis of the change in a measurement value caused by a change in the shape of the inner peripheral surface of the bearing.
