Abstract:
Provided is a compressor that inhibits slot cells disposed in slots from melting. The compressor has a casing and a motor disposed within the casing that are fixed in a loosely fitting state and are joined by welding the casing and the motor at a plurality of welding locations. The motor is equipped with a core (71) that has an annular back yoke (75), a plurality of teeth sections (76) protruding from the back yoke (75) inward in a radial direction, and slots (77) formed between adjacent teeth sections (76); coils (72) that are disposed in the slots (77); and slot cells (73) that are disposed in the slots (77) and insulate the coils (72) and the core. The slot cells (73) are non-woven aramide fabric.
