Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a compressor with improved reliability and stability capable of avoiding an operation under high-load conditions. [Solution] A rotary compressor (1) comprises an electric element (4) and a rotary compression element (7) inside a sealed vessel (3). The rotary compressor (1) further comprises a high-pressure control circuit (31) including: a bypass path (32) for communicating a high-pressure side with a low-pressure side; and a high-pressure control valve (33) provided to the bypass path (32). The high-pressure control valve (33) is opened when the pressure on the high-pressure side rises to a set value. While the high-pressure control valve (33) is opened, the high-pressure control circuit (31) adjusts the amount of refrigerant circulating in the high-pressure side and returns the refrigerant to the low-pressure side.
