Abstract:
An intermittent oil supply mechanism (50) is configured so that: the intermittent oil supply mechanism (50) causes a two-phase flow consisting of oil and a part of a gas refrigerant, the oil and the gas refrigerant being separated by an oil separator (40), to flow into a case (30); and the gas refrigerant in the two-phase flow flows into a throttle passage (501a) as a gas flow. If the intermittent oil supply mechanism (50) restricts the flow of oil to such an extent that the entire amount of the oil separated by the oil separator (40) cannot flow through the intermittent oil supply mechanism (50), the inside of the throttle passage (501a) is totally filled with the oil and, therefore, the gas refrigerant cannot flow into the throttle passage (501a) as a gas flow. Consequently, the entire amount of the oil separated by the oil separator (40) can flow through the intermittent oil supply mechanism (50), and as a result, the separated oil does not overflow the oil separator (40) and the oil does not flow to the outside.
