Abstract:
Provided is a compressor that uses balancing weights and is capable of suppressing oil outflow caused by the balancing weights. A scroll compressor is provided with a crankshaft (50), an electric motor, an upper balancing weight (60), and an oil outflow suppression member (70). The electric motor has a rotor that is connected to the crankshaft and a stator in which the rotor is accommodated with an air gap therebetween. The balancing weight is disposed adjacent to the rotor and integrated with the crankshaft. The oil outflow suppression member surrounds the top, bottom, and side parts of a balancing weight passing space (Sbw). The balancing weight passing space is a space through which at least a part of the balancing weight passes when the crankshaft rotates 360˚.
