Abstract:
Provided is a compressor for which the adhesion of moisture on an impeller can be suppressed, and which can be operated without reducing the efficiency or the operating range of the impeller. This compressor (1) is equipped with: a tubular casing (16) forming an annular space (16a); a motor (2) provided inside the annular space (16a) of the casing (16) so as to have a gap (16i) between the casing (16) and the motor; a rotary shaft (11) extending downstream from the motor (2), for the purpose of outputting rotational driving force of the motor (2); an impeller (10) that is affixed to the rotary shaft (11) downstream from the motor (2), and that compresses an operating fluid; and first guide blades (15) provided in the gap (16i) and configured so as to impart a swirl component to operating fluid passing through the gap (16i) and moving toward the impeller (10) due to the rotation of the impeller (10). A first moisture accommodation hole (13) and a first discharge port (14), which open toward the portion of the annular space (16a) located between the impeller (10) and the first guide blades (15) and are for discharging moisture in the operating fluid, are formed in the casing (16).
