Abstract:
This compressor is provided with: an airtight container (1); an electric motor unit disposed within the airtight container (1); a compressor mechanism unit which compresses a refrigerant by being driven by the electric motor unit; an intake liner (13) which is inserted in a refrigerant intake port (12) of the compressor mechanism unit; and an excessive insertion prevention mechanism (17) which is configured to prevent excessive insertion of the intake liner (13). The intake liner (13) is inserted in the refrigerant intake port (12) through an intake outer tube (15) that is provided to a portion, of the airtight container (1), facing the refrigerant intake port (12). The excessive insertion prevention mechanism (17) is formed of: at least one protrusion (16) provided on the inner circumferential surface of the intake outer tube (15); and an expanded-diameter section (13a) provided in an inlet portion of the intake liner (13). The present aspect can provide a compressor having high volumetric efficiency and high compressor efficiency without involving a cost increase.
